 Tampa Tribune names ALL HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY SOFTBALL TEAM for 2008

Team Sizzlers players Tara Thomas and Sophia Tarte received Honorable Mention from the Tribune.  Coach Hanks stated that “the Hillsborough County School District is the 9th largest district in the United States with 28 high schools and we are very proud to have two of our players recognized by the Tribune for their individual contributions to their respective High School Teams during the 2008 season”.

 * Sophia Tarte, a sophomore at C. Leon King high school also tied a school sofball record for the fewest number of strikeouts in a season. She only had one strikeout in 64 at bats for the 2008 season.


 * Team Sizzlers Sophia Tarte is named Second Team all County in the Federal Division for the Hillsborough County School District.
